The C38A is 5V powered, it's not a great problem to power the module at this voltage. But the problem is for I/O, because all apf I/O are 3.3V signals. To solve this problem, the chip used in C38A provide a IO VDD power entry that can be powered both 5V or 3.3V. By default on C38A kit, all alimentation are connected to 5V. To provide 3.3V on IO alimentation (DOVDD) JP2 strap on kit must be deconnected, and 3.3V must be branched on J6 (DOVDD).

Powering
