Thanks to CPU power of ARM Cortex-A processors it is now possible to use GNU Radio on APF module like APF51 or APF6. This page will give you a quick overview of how to do that.

Although GNU Radio might be used with simulated input signals, it may be funnier to have a SDR capable dongle to capture real life signals. rtl-sdr ([1] is on of the supported input plugin of GNU Radio. More infos on how to configure it here1.
